Sacred Heart Parish CAFOD Group
Sacred Heart Parish’s CAFOD group has taken a break, but hopes to return – maybe in partnership with our very active friends from Ss John Fisher & Thomas More.
In the past we have held regular events throughout the church year including our ‘Spring Fever’ weekend with coffee, lots of cakes and raffles held after all masses , and our Quiz Supper and Parish Walk for all ages and abilities. These events have raised hundreds of pounds for CAFOD’s international appeals, as well as being occasions of social enjoyment!
On a spiritual level the CAFOD group still organise a Stations of the Cross service during Lent, and for this they are joined by parishioners from St Margarets.
